This flexible suite of online courses addresses workplace harassment fundamentals, sexual harassment, bystander intervention, and cyber harassment for all employees, and includes a module containing content specific to supervisors.

Workplace Harassment Prevention - Faculty & Staff will help learners:

  • Explain what retaliation is, and why it’s illegal
  • Describe federal definitions of protected categories
  • Recall ways to report and stop harassing behavior

Workplace Harassment Prevention - Supervisors will help learners:

  • Describe how to handle reports of discrimination, including harassment, from employees
  • Recognize what steps to take after a report to ensure your employees feel safe, supported, and that your institution is protected
  • Identify how to avoid retaliation or the appearance of it if an accusation is made.

Preventing Sexual Harassment will help learners:

  • Define sexual harassment and identify various behaviors that could be considered sexual harassment
  • Differentiate between Quid Pro Quo and Hostile Environment harassment
  • Recognize common side-effects of sexual harassment for victims

Bystander Intervention will help learners:

  • Explain the importance of bystander intervention in maintaining a healthy workplace
