About This Resource

Higher education institutions and K-12 schools that accept federal funding must comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits sex discrimination – including sexual harassment – by educational institutions.  In 2020, the Department of Education (ED) issued new Title IX  regulations that include specific training requirements for school personnel charged with implementing the statute on their campuses. This publication explains the requirements and aims to help schools satisfy them.
