About This Resource

United Educators (UE) surveyed 225 of its higher education members over a 16-month period about sexual violence prevention and response. Many questions touched on practices required by law, most notably the 2013 Violence Against Women Act amendments to the Clery Act (VAWA). VAWA established requirements for prevention, training, and response related to dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Use the responses to the survey questions to assess your institution’s sexual violence prevention and response practices.
